Introduction

Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery provides Oral Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery in Warren, Grosse Pointe, Rochester/Troy, Clinton Township and Clarkston, MI.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Thomas, Hackenberger, Alamat, Kraemer, Orzech and Osguthorpe manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Drs. Thomas, Hackenberger, Alamat, Kraemer, Orzech and Osguthorpe practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery, removal of wisdom teeth to corrective jaw surgery, which includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention. Our office can diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures. Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) to maximize the safety and quality of your surgical care.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Summit Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants. Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our fully accredited state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and most are CPR certified. Many of our staff members are also Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified as are our doctors.
